Dealer Education
In the state of Utah, licensed auto dealers are required to complete continuing education before July 1each year. New license education is also required for those looking to apply for a dealer license. This requirement for continuing education and new dealer education, applies to licensed used car dealers, and licensed new car dealers. Currently there is not an education requirement for licensed salesman, body shops, or mechanical repair shops. The Utah Automotive Alliance has partnered with Independent Dealer Solutions to offer the required dealer education.
Members of the Utah Automotive Alliance will receive a discount on continuing education. Once you join, watch for your discount code or reach out to us and we can register you or provide you the code to register on your own. Classes are available online or in-person.
